Federalists elect Christian Wenning as Secretary General
The Union of European Federalists (UEF) has elected Christian Wenning (35) as its new Secretary General. He replaces Joan Marc Simon. Wenning joined the German section of the Young European Federalists (JEF) first in 1998 and he held several positions since, such as President of JEF Germany, Board Member of UEF Germany and the European Movement Germany. Federalist Campaign grows - new Spinelli initiative
UEF President Andrew Duff has welcomed the launching of the Spinelli Group ‑ a new formation of politicians and thinkers committed to building a federal Europe.

Federalists warn against ''half-measures'' on economoc government
ANDREW DUFF MEP, President of the Union of European Federalists (UEF) and European Liberal Democrat spokesman on constitutional affairs, has welcomed the decision of the European Council (28-29 October) to revise the Lisbon Treaty. But he warns against half measures which will not provide the strong economic government needed to consolidate the eurozone and aid economic recovery.

Serbian Federalists joined Union of European Federalists
UEF Serbia was admitted as a full member of the Union of European Federalists. This was unanimously adopted by the Federal Committee of the UEF at the session held on 30-31st October 2010 in Brussels. Until now, UEF Serbia was a candidate section for the UEF membership. Read more...

Federalists condemn breakdown of budgetary agreement
