UEF: Federalists adopt Manifesto"Towards Federal Union"

The Union of European Federalists has unanimously adopted the Manifesto "Towards Federal Union" during its XXIV European Congress in November at the German Federal Foreign Office.

The UEF adopting the Federalist Manifesto at the Weltsaal of the German Federal Foreign Office.

The Manifesto calls for a Convention to start in Spring 2015 which will begin the general revision of the EU treaties. The main goals of the new treaty will be to establish a proper fiscal union, to transform the Commission into a parliamentary government and to create a new status of associate membership.
