The UEF Congress, meeting in Brussels on the 25-27 March 2011: - Considering that in the last 10 years UEF has been facing major financial difficulties which may represent a threat to its Europe wide development and consequently its political credibility and efficiency, - Considering that targeted spending cuts and participation fees for mandate holders attending the statutory meetings do not constitute a proper funding strategy, - Considering that the participation especially of the young federalist activists represents one of the most important targets to strengthen the federalist organisation, - Calls upon the newly elected European Bureau to develop a proper UEF funding strategy.
