The protests against the populist course of action of the Danish government were organised by the German and Danish youth sections together with other political youth associations and with the support of Europa-Union Deutschland (EUD). Several hundred young people, including a number of EUD activists, made a statement in support of the freedom of movement in Europe and backed the Schengen Agreement.
