They recall that in its earlier years UEF Germany was a broad movement standing up for open borders and the overcoming of nationalism in Europe. Wieland and Moos reaffirm that UEF Germany as member of UEF continues to stick to these principles also in times of crisis. UEF Germany promotes the evolution of the EU to a federal state with strong member states, in which prevails the common European interest.
They further describe the positive development of the UEF section in Germany in recent years. Finally they encourage all members to join in and support UEF Germany for being successful for Europe in 2013 and beyond.
