TOWARDS A FISCAL UNION FOR THE EUROZONE: LESSONS FROM FEDERATIONS
On Thursday 1 October Xavier DEBRUN, Deputy Chief of the Fiscal Policy and Surveillance Division in the Fiscal Affairs Department of the IMF will speak at a UEF Workshop on lessons from federations for the Eurozone.

This workshop aims to create a conversation between policy experts and federalist-minded professionals from the world of EU politics, business and civil society.

By taking examples from existing currency unions in federal states, the debate will cover the options for a future fiscal union for the Eurozone.
