On 24 March 2022, UEF organised the Federalist Online Lunch-Debate “What is at stake for Europe on 3 April 2022 at the Hungarian Parliamentary elections?”
Together with Daniel Hegedus, a political analyst and fellow of the German Marshall Fund of the United States in Berlin, the President of UEF, Sandro Gozi, and the EB member and board member of UEF Hungary, Eszter Nagy discussed the political situation in view of the fact that the opposition parties united their forces for the first time for 12 years.
They gave their view on whether it was possible to change the government in Hungary at a democratic election and what were the possible implications for the European Union. The debate was moderated by journalist Nana Walzer.
