UEF Austria (Europäische Föderalistische Bewegung Österreich-EFB) was born on 31 January 1955. Since then it has been active in promoting the idea of peace, democracy and integration of Europe. Already in 1967, UEF Austria called for the abolition of the borders under the motto: All Europeans do travel without border checks. Now the Schengen Agreement is a reality.
